A look at the history books.
With over 45 years of estate agency experience between both London and here in Northumberland, we’ve worked in a competitive environment during the highs and lows of the housing market since the late 90s.
I, Ali, started my career in London, swiftly progressing to senior management level at both regional and national level. I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have worked with & developed some award-winning agents over the years, most recently in my last employed post, playing a key role in the mentoring, coaching and training of like-minded business owners across the country, who have gone on to build successful relationship focussed businesses for themselves.
Laura started her career here in 1999, managing and valuing within a number of the local estate agency firms before taking a sabbatical. That year out turned into ten and after a spell in the Caribbean, she moved to London in 2013 where we first met. There, she worked for one of the largest independent agents in the capital where she swiftly become recognized as both the top negotiator and top valuer across this business during her 4 years there. Laura then carved out a successful stint as a self-employed property consultant in partnership, with what was at the time, the most dominant name in the UK property industry. There, she had managing oversight of one of South London’s largest territories, successfully building a referral & recommendation-based business.
Why Bedlington and the North East?
We moved back to Bedlington in 2021 looking for of a safer, more suitable environment to raise our daughter Ava and we both felt Bedlington also offered an exciting opportunity for us to follow our dreams by applying our passion for helping people with their property needs, by setting up and operating a relationship focussed business of our own.
Laura went to school here, Ava now goes to school here, we socialise regularly within the local restaurants & pubs, whilst making full use of the public parks and woodland walks that we are all incredibly fortunate to have on our doorstep. The beach also being a 10-minute drive away doesn’t hurt either. We even got engaged in the Lairds House Hotel on Bedlington Front Street!
We know and love the area (that’s why we have moved back). We genuinely wanted to become key members of this tight knit community and continue to do everything we can to help it thrive.
The overwhelming success of the business since launch in the Summer of 2021 has been nothing short of breath-taking and we can’t thank our clients enough for the trust and faith they have placed in us over the years. As result of this success, our reach has expanded well beyond the city limits of Bedlington where we first started out and we now proudly serve the residents of various other communities including, but not limited to, Ashington, Blyth, Morpeth & Cramlington, stretching as far North as Amble, all the way down to the borders of Sunderland to the South – all expertly supported by our growing team of business partners across the patch.
